Head into the mountains, find a landscape that invites you to pause, and take the time to stay. This is the experience Montissi Resort Spa & Golf adds to Rancho Queimado’s accommodation options. Located in Invernadinha, the property has 67 suites and was announced as an investment of approximately R$120 million, according to DeOlhoNaIlha’s report on its opening.

A place to take your time in the mountains

The opening was announced for September 17, 2026. When checked for this update, the resort was listed in Atrio’s portfolio and had an official booking channel with accommodation and rates available to consult. The project was developed by Costa da Serra Incorporadora and covers approximately 200,000 square metres.

That scale helps explain the idea: bringing different parts of a trip together in one place. For visitors who usually spend only a few hours in Rancho, an overnight stay offers another morning among the mountains instead of a hurried journey home.

Rest, dining and space for the family

Facilities listed by the official channels include a restaurant, wine cellar, pool, spa, gym and children’s spaces. Accommodation includes suites for couples, rooms with two queen beds and a family suite. The choice can start with what matters most to each trip: who is travelling, room size and how much time you want to spend at the resort itself.

The lake and mountain scenery are part of that experience. The golf course, however, is still marked “coming soon” on Montissi’s website, checked on October 21, 2026. Anyone travelling primarily to play golf should therefore confirm its opening before booking.

A stay that can also connect with the town

A new place to stay broadens the ways to experience Rancho Queimado. A trip can alternate between relaxing at the hotel and exploring the town, without having to fill every hour. Sometimes leaving an afternoon free is exactly what makes a trip feel different.

Montissi is on Estrada Geral da Invernadinha, with no street number. Before booking, check the conditions of your chosen rate, included meals and arrangements for wellness services. The official channels also provide guidance on access, stays with children and pet policies.
